For other matters, the charges will vary according to your needs and the complexity of your case. We will give you best advice about likely costs at the outset and we will keep you informed of any changes in a timely fashion.

Our charges comprise:

• Time spent on your case. Solicitors usually sell their expertise in six minute units. This time includes telephone calls, meetings (with you or with experts on your behalf), preparation of letters, and visits to Care Homes etc.
• Payment of Disbursements e.g. reports from medical advisors
• VAT – we are sorry!

We will send an interim bill each Quarter. At the conclusion of your case, you will receive a final invoice including any adjustments. Whilst we reserve the right to charge interest on any invoices unpaid after 28 days, it is our policy only to take this step in cases of persistent, ongoing defaulters.
