Many people have strong wishes regarding their preferences for a funeral ceremony. Almost any type of ceremony is permissible within the law and it can be very consoling for relatives or friends to know that they are fulfilling their loved one’s last requests. One of the most common questions we are asked when someone telephones to inform us of a death, is ‘does the Will say anything about the funeral?’ They want to know because they feel it is important to honour the person’s last wishes. If there is no Will or guidance, these decisions can be hard for them to cope with in their grief.
We are able to draw up documents detailing your wishes. We can also arrange contact with local undertakers to provide information on pre-paid funeral plans.
